I’ve been waiting until Leann and Jason returned from their honeymoon in Hawaii to post their photographs and publish their blog post, but knowing that Jason would have his Iphone with him and be “wired”, I beamed them over a little slideshow before they got back. Like Jason, I have to admit to my left-brain’s addiction to gadgets and watches although maybe not as hard core - I wasn’t interviewed by KDKA in line at the Apple Store at 4AM.

It was an amazing wedding weekend at Nemacolin Woodlands resort, starting with a rehearsal dinner at Mulligans at Mystic Rock. The party on Friday continued with Casino Night - a special event for their friends and family with real casino slot and table games. It was so much fun with baskets and prizes for the play money winners.

The guys began wedding day with a round of golf at Mystic Rock golf course, one of the top courses in the country, while the ladies primped at the Spa.

The weather was a little questionable that morning, but the rain held off and Leann and Jason said their vows on the beautiful plaza courtyard deck overlooking the property.

A reception followed in the Grand Ballroom - the room was beautifully decorated by Something New Florals from Canfield Ohio.

Leann looked just amazing in her Kenneth Pool gown. It was gorgeous.

No Bad Juju, a fantastic band, provided the reception entertainment, while Creative Cakes, who always come up with unique and beautiful designs, really outdid themselves.

Here’s a highlight story of Leann and Jason’s incredible wedding weekend.

I had such a great time with Leann and Jason at their engagement session at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, where they met and where Jason proposed.

Jason surprised Leann with a rose on an engraved brick - a true romantic! You can see the brick in the first slide.

Allegheny College has a beautiful campus which reminded me of Tulane, where I spent my first two years of school. It’s a small campus with 2000 students and a ton of history. It opened it’s doors in 1817 and is among the oldest 1% of all colleges and universities in the US, ranked among the top 50 private schools in the country by Forbes Magazine.

President McKinley attended in 1861 and rumor has it that he carried a cow to the top of the Bentley Hall bell tower.

There are really cool glass sculptures on campus, which we played around with - they’re composed of many individual glass plates that I understand make a fashionable coffee table for your fraternity - no names mentioned.

Barb and I are really looking forward to Leann and Jason’s wedding in September at Nemacolin Woodlands.

Abir and Bob were married on May 10th at Nemacolin Woodlands in a beautiful outdoor Greek Orthodox ceremony on the Chateau’s upper deck, with a reception following at the new Horizon Pointe ballroom at Falling Rock.

We were a little worried about the weather that day for an outdoor ceremony, but the rain stopped in the morning, the skies parted and it turned out to be a perfect day.

We photographed Abir and Bob’s engagement session last December and got to them pretty well, which always makes wedding day a bit more relaxed. They’re fun, personable, down to earth and make a very sharp couple.

Abir’s gown was a beautiful creation by Pnina Tornai - a celebrity Israeli designer, exclusively commissioned through Kleinfelds of New York. She’s a very unique designer whose gowns are all hand beaded with precious crystals and stones.

The belly dancer is a tradition - she was so much fun and really got the crowd going.

Marco and Jenny at Cana Videography provided multimedia services. I have a special bond with Marco - we work really well together and always feed off of each others’ creativity.

Abir and Bob honeymooned in Bermuda - I spoke to them after they returned a few days ago - the weather was perfect and they had the best time.

Congratulations!
