While we don’t have a Ritz Carleton or Four Season, there are lots of wonderful wedding venues in Pittsburgh – The Omni William Penn, The Carnegie Museum, The Hilton, The Westin, The Renaissance, The History Center, Soldiers and Sailors, The LeMont, among many others. And, we’ll have a new venue arrive in 2009 with The Fairmont at PNC. All of these venues have excellent service and food, and are beautiful locations for a wedding reception.

A few venues really stand out, who do a fabulous job – are beautiful, have great food and wonderful service. The Grand Hall at the Priory is one of those venues.

Example

The Priory traces its history to 1845, the beginning of St. Mary’s Church, the first Roman Catholic church in Allegheny City, now Pittsburgh’s north side.

Along with a beautiful Ball Room, the Priory is joined with The Priory Hotel, an elegant 24 room, European style inn.

Paulette and Walter at the Priory are great to work with. If you’re looking for a beautiful and unique location for your wedding, I highly recommend taking a look at The Grand Hall.
