We all look for ways to do less each year while still maintaining a festive feeling during the holidays.  Shopping, cleaning, decorating, baking, wrapping, preparing a meal – and then un-doing those chores is a LOT of work!  We want the kids to have the magic of the holidays, but sometimes we end up feeling less than merry in the process.

If I had to pick only one tradition to carry on, it would be seeing  my family and friends.  Since we are scattered in so many directions, the next best thing for me is the daily trip to the mailbox.  I LOVE getting cards in the mail!  If a friend included a note or photos of kids growing like weeds – I actually feel – – – happy!
