Amanda and Matt were married on October 21 in a gorgeous ceremony and reception at Memorial Park Presbyterian Church and The Hilton Hotel.

When I photographed their engagement session, Amanda and Matt were doing a lot of traveling and were passing each other at the airport. So, it seemed natural to do their engagement session there.

It’s always a creative challenge to look at a familiar location and especially an industrial location like the airport with tons of people, with a photographic eye. I was a little afraid of being hassled with the tight security at the airport, but no one bothered us – short of a worker yelling up to the balcony (jokingly) “Get a room!”

We had so much fun and Amanda and Matt became known as the “couple who has been kissing all around the airport”. Here are a few of my favorites:

It had been a while since their engagement session and I was really looking forward to their wedding. Amanda’s gown and the bridesmaid’s dresses were designed by Vera Wang. Their cake was from Bethel Bakery. Flowers were designed by the always amazing Michael Bloom at Bloom’s Florist

Here are a few highlights before their reception.
