There are some people that just have a naturally upbeat personality. Kelly has such an infectious laugh. I still hear her laugh in my head after Friday’s wedding.

It was raining off and on most of the day. We arrived at The West End Overlook with the bridal party and had just a short period of time for pictures before the reception. Of course, it started to pour.

Everyone was a good sport and agreed to forge out with umbrellas in the rain. Just as we were about to finish, the rain stopped, the sun popped out through a hole in the clouds and we were treated to an amazing rainbow.

Here are some of the pictures:

I couldn’t take emotional photographs without getting caught up in the emotion of wedding day and sometimes have to work to keep my camera steady and the viewfinder from fogging.

At one time Barb worked in The Wilkinsburg police department, so I’ve spent a lot of time with officers who have to put their street face on to do their job.

At the risk of some ribbing by his fellow officers, I won’t include the photographs here, but I thought it was really cool that Adam, a big burly guy and a Washington DC area police officer, wasn’t afraid to show his emotions during wedding day and especially when he danced with his mom.

I hope you guys are having fun on your honeymoon!!

Steve

A year and a half after the wedding we still enjoy looking at the photos. (Love the parents’ album) It was fun seeing some of them are still on your website. You and Barb were wonderful to work with. Thanks again for helping with that wonderful day.
